For the Soup:
- 1/2 cup dried kidney beans
- 1/2 cup dried black beans
- 1/2 cup dried pinto beans
- 1/2 cup dried white or navy beans
Spice Mix:
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 2 tablespoons powdered beef bouillon (or chicken, if preferred)
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste

Prepare the Beans: In a large bowl, combine the dried kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans, and white or navy beans. Mix well. Rinse the beans thoroughly under cold water to remove any debris.
Cook the Beans: Transfer the beans to a large crock pot or slow cooker. Add 8 cups of water or broth to the crock pot. Stir in the garlic salt, powdered bouillon, onion powder, red pepper flakes, chili powder, black pepper, and salt.
Slow Cook the Soup: Set the crock pot to low and cook for 8-10 hours, or set to high and cook for 4-5 hours, until the beans are tender and the flavors are well combined.
Serve: Once cooked, stir the soup well and adjust seasoning to taste if necessary. Serve hot, accompanied by Cast Iron Skillet Bread or Rustic No Yeast Bread for a hearty and comforting meal.
